Ghastly Grimoires
A downloadable game
Even sinister sentient books like you have to draw the line somewhere, and your current owner seems intent on preserving you as the prize trophy of their collection. Which means now is the time to make a break for it while the master is away and only the watchful eyes of his familiars stand in your way. Unfortunately, that’s a little tricky for a book without any legs. But you don’t get to be a millenia’s old Ghastly Grimoire without a few tricks up your pages. You may just need to use all of them if you ever plan to make it out of the imposing Blackthorne Manor and spread your corrupting influence ever again.
In Ghastly Grimoires, each player plays as an evil sentient tome with unique strengths. You must all work together to break the Arcane Seals trapping you here so that you may escape back into the world to spread further malice and mayhem. But your dark master has no intention of letting such powerful grimoires escape so easily. You must avoid drawing too much Suspicion or else your master’s Crow Familiars that patrol the halls of Blackthorne Manor will tear you to shreds. Yet you are not alone: the many Restless Spirits of those who have met their end in this manor will aid you, as long as you can control them that is. You do not have long however, soon the master shall return and any hope of escape will be lost!

Thank you for playing or even looking at my game! I had a blast coming up with this and there was so much more I didn't get the time to explore! Nearly all of my play-testing was with 3 players and 6 Seals so I would recommend that same setup as it has been the most "thoroughly" tested.
Some of the ideas I would want to explore with more time:
Also I would love to hear any feedback you may have to share! Any favorite or least favorite parts? What you would do as an evil sentient book? Thanks again!
